  I use bill pay with instructions to pay 2 days before the due date, why don't I get credit immediately?
Your Billpay service creates a paper check then sends your payment out by USPS. This process can take up to 1-1/2 weeks for delivery to the HHWD-15 mailbox. The check must be in the HHWD-15 mailbox by the due date: the first of each month (or it will be late). Some Banks will debit your account when the check is sent and not when the check is cashed (deposited).

  Are there any helpful hints?
Yes. 1) Please include your account # (XXXX.X) and service address on your form of payment. 2) On your check, please make sure your numeric and legal descriptors match (i.e., $200.03 and Two hundred dollars and 03/100). 3) Please make sure you've signed your check. 4) Please if you will, include your phone number (just in case we need to call you.)
